U-PICK CHERRY ORCHARD

274 Blossom Lane . Schellsburg, PA 15559 . (814) 839-4181

Black cherries... sweet cherries... sour cherries - we have them all!

Spend a day in our scenic u-pick orchard to stock up on our fresh cherries.  With a little luck from mother nature, our 12 acres of cherry trees will be brimming with Jubileums, Black Bings, Queen Annes and Montmorency cherry varieties, just to name a few!

Clockwise from upper left:  Jubileum - A sweet-sour, very juicy cherry. They make delicious pies and the BEST cherry jam.  Queen Anne - Delicately sweet, firm flesh. Excellent for fresh eating.  Black Bing - Sweet, firm flesh. Excellent for fresh eating.  Montmorency - The old-fashioned sour cherry – quite tart! Great for baking and that old fashioned flavor.

Fun Find!

When in the cherry orchard, look for our Gold cherries, hidden amongst our other varieties.  This variety is commonly used by commercial briners in maraschino cherry production because of their colorless flesh and small size!  Homemade maraschino cherries anyone?    Only a FEW trees of these, so, first come first serve!

Because all fresh fruit supplies are dependent on weather, it is ALWAYS a good idea to call first if you will be traveling any distance. We update our answering service constantly to reflect accurate picking information, available to you 24 hours a day.  (814) 839-4181

We proudly grow our fruits under a low-spray management program called Integrated Pest Management.  Learn more by clicking here.
